Need a steamy apple pie cider recipe to warm you up? Hot winter beverages are my favorite, since they can be sipped while snuggled by a cozy fireplace or just under a blanket on the sofa. After a day of playing outside, perhaps in the snow, these hot drinks sure can take away the cold!

This apple pie cider really hits the spot!

I enjoy the taste of apples, so this apple pie cider recipe really hits the spot. It lets me hold onto the Fall season just a little longer. If you still have a ton of apples from the orchard, this is a great recipe to use them for!

The delicious beverage has been cooked with sugar and cinnamon sticks, then poured over apple slices, for a delicious and warming drink that’s just as delicious as apple pie dessert! Pair it with some gingerbread cookies to really make the drink festive.

Plus, you can use this apple pie cider recipe to start a tradition. Maybe drink it while watching Frosty or Rudolph. Or while reading “Twas the Night Before Christmas” with your children.

Bring to a simmer over medium-low heat until sugar has completely dissolved.

While cider heats, place the thinly sliced apple in mugs and set aside. I like to use clear mugs just to really bring out the color of the apple cider recipe. Again, it makes me feel like we are still in Fall!
