Disclosure: I received the featured products for free. All opinions, however, are 100% my own!

My husband, Miles, and I love any kind of sausage or pulled pork. Especially when you add barbeque sauce to it – so delicious! Surprisingly, we have never tried Curly’s brand of pulled pork or sausages. So we were excited when I was contacted to do a review! We wanted to try out the signature Big House Sausage recipe from their website, but our local Meijer did not have the sauceless pulled pork – so we changed it up a bit! And let me tell you – it is AMAZING!

Let me tell you a little about the Curly’s products first, though! The Smokehouse Sausages are fully cooked so you can get them to the table in just a matter of minutes! They are 100% pork sausage with no fillers – you can tell the difference because they won’t shrivel up like competitors’ brands. Are you concerned about gluten, or have friends/family that are? You don’t have to worry with Curly’s Smokehouse Sausages – they are gluten free! There is also no MSG added. Each package contains a full pound of sausage that is hickory smoked over a log fire to get that genuine smoky-good flavor!

Curly’s Pulled BBQ is always pulled, never shredded, so it gives a true restaurant quality. There’s never any fillers and it’s smoked for hours and simmered in their favorite sauce! You just have to heat and serve to enjoy this delicious BBQ!

For this you just need a few items:

  • Curly’s Hickory Smoked Pulled Pork with Barbecue Sauce
  • Curly’s Smokehouse Sausage (We used the Cheddar Burst variety.)
  • Hot Dog Buns
  • BBQ Sauce

You will first cook the Smokehouse Links – since they are hickory smoked they are already fully cooked, so you just need to heat them up. We did ours by throwing them in a skillet on the stove for a few minutes. While they are heating up, you can then put the pulled pork in the microwave to heat up. After it is warmed up, you can put your sausage together. Put the Smokehouse Sausage in a bun, top that with some of the Pulled Pork and top it off with some extra BBQ sauce and enjoy!

I have to say I never thought about putting pulled pork on top of a sausage – but this was absolutely delicious! Adding the extra BBQ sauce made it even better! We will definitely be having this again very soon! There’s some other recipes we would like to try on their website as well.
