The farm sits on 16 acres and was donated by the Boone family to attract history lovers from all over. The historic farm captures San Ramon’s history from the very beginning. Concerts and tours are run by the farm to give visitors a sense of what life was like in the early 20th centuries.
Hiking and Biking
The Las Trampas Regional Wilderness has an expanded trail system designed for horseback riders and hikers who enjoy rugged and remote areas. The park is spread out over 5,000 acres, and it is highly likely you’ll see birds and other wildlife. Bishop Ranch Regional Preserve is near the San Ramon Valley subdivisions. It’s a much smaller park that provides solitude making your way to the view of the Tri-Valley area. The preserve is home to red-tailed hawks, deer, and turkey vultures.
