WOW! Who else cannot believe that it is already August? It seems like every month goes by faster and faster the older I get. With August, of course, comes a new school year for many parents and their children. If you have a teenager going off to college (or happen to be a teen going off to college!) a big concern is keeping your child’s electronics safe. The most commonly stolen items on college campuses include cell phones, iPods and laptops.
To keep your child’s valuables safe, there’s lots of great products, made by Master Lock, that you can get. Since they’ve been around since 1921, you know you’re going to be protected from theft. There’s a SafeSpace Laptop Computer Lock that is great for if your child needs to take their laptop, for example, to the commons and work on homework. A great feature about a lot of Master Lock’s products is the fact that you can set your own combination! No need to memorize a number. I know that there have been locks where I forgot the combination and then lost the paper that had the combination – that’s no fun!

We don’t have anyone going back to school that needs a Master Lock, but we use them all the time on our trailer that we tow around to different shows. It has 2 doors on it for easy access to our goods so…. we use two Master Locks.

I want that Master Lock 5900D SafeSpace! It looks fantastic! Plus it would be perfect for keeping extra cash around the house for emergencies, and not have to worry about random people getting into it. Or for the husband to carry his stuff to school.
I like how the lock is different then normal locks. I need the safe space! how cool!
Love Master Locks! We have them for our bikes and so on. My son rides his bike to school and he picked out his own lock for it. I like how you can set your own combination in this one!

Love the look of these – they look like it would be a perfect way to keep things just a little more secure where ever you are keeping them. Such a shame we have to resort to such measures now though.

I love the Master Lock Safe Space. It is great for school age and college age kids but really, anyone could use it. Especially for travel. Great products.
My family and I always use Masterlock for our locks. I think they are great locks and certainly a brand we trust. I haven’t seen the Safe Space lock before that looks really useful.

Very neat back to school idea! My kids are too young to need something like this yet but great to know about it and like Nicole says it surely can be useful for other things too.
