Wine Cork Napkin Rings
Lidia recounts using what they had on hand to create homemade holiday d or. Take a peek at how you can use wine corks, a little paint, and some glue to make some fun and frugal napkin rings.
Supplies Needed:
- Wine Corks
- Sharp Knife
- Hot Glue, Glue Gun
- Green Craft Paint, Small Brush
- Red Ribbon
- Scissors
Directions:
- Begin by taking the knife and cutting the corks into small, thin discs. You will be able to get about 3-4 discs from each cork.
- Place the corks into a circle shape. Once the circle is formed, add some hot glue between the discs to help join them. Press together until dry and secure.
- Once the corks are dry, go ahead and add your paint. Use a small brush or your finger to dab on the green craft paint as we did.
- Finish the napkin ring by adding a tiny bow. Just cut a length of ribbon, make a bow, trim, and attach with glue.
Roll up a napkin and slide it through the napkin ring. You are now ready to lay it on your place setting. As you can see, they add lots of holiday charm! Gather your supplies and give these wine cork napkin rings a try! They are a great way to enjoy the text a little more.
