Riley softball
This year is Riley’s first year of softball – and let me tell you, she is loving it! This makes me super excited because I know I loved playing and made so many memories in the years I got to play. I am excited to make memories with her on this journey. Being a softball mom, there are quite a few things you need to have on hand at all times. Today I’m sharing some of these items!6 Things Every Softball Mom Needs To Survive The Season

  1. First Aid Kit – With any sport, there is going to be times when your child gets bumps, brusies, and scrapes. You want to make sure you are prepared by having a fully stocked first aid kit. I love the one Walmart has – it includes band-aids, cleansing wipes, cold pack, and more in a really nice carrying case. I keep it in the back of my SUV so we have it with us on the go.
  2. Sunscreen – In Spring and Summer, sun is out full force – finally! I want to make sure Riley, my husband, and myself are protected with sunscreen so we do not risk sunburn. Have to keep our skin healthy!
  3. Lawn Chair – All parents need a good lawn chair – for me, I don’t care for the bleachers because my back hurts if I’ve been sitting on them too long. So a good chair is much needed. I always get one with cup holders. Need to make sure I have a place to put my ice cold drink!
  4. Umbrella – There are going to be times when you will have to sit in the rain while your daughter plays. Be able to get under quick cover thanks to an umbrella. No sense in getting as wet as possible.Poise Microliners
  5. Poise Liners – As moms, a lot of us suffer from light bladder leakage. With Poise you don’t have to worry about leaking when you cheer on your daughter as she makes a good catch or has a great hit! And Poise now has a great 2-month supply that you can get so you don’t have to worry about running out so quickly. That’s a win-win to me!
  6. Hat – Not only do you need to protect your skin, but make sure you are protecting your face and eyes with a good hat. I love supporting our team, so of course I wear a Harrison Wildcats hat!

I’m so thankful to have these items, including the Poise Microliners, at hand so that I can make memories with my daughter and watch her make her own memories with her softball team. The best part is that I can pick up all of these items at my local Walmart store! If you are a softball mom, make sure you stock up on these items so that you and your child have a successful softball season!

There’s nothing like watching her have a great hit or field a ball and get someone out. It makes me so proud. And she loves it, too, which is what matters most to me. I just love being a softball mom! […]
