I told you all a couple weeks ago about my Nutrisystem weight loss journey and how it was beginning! I’m excited to tell you how week one went! This is a few days late, but because of Christmas I took a little bit of a break!

My weight loss total for the first week (I weighed myself Monday, which was exactly a week after I started the program) was 1 pound! Not a lot, but it’s better than either not losing anything at all or gaining!

Day 3

Above is my Instagram collage/picture of my day three meals (minus my morning and afternoon snacks, and dessert). The bluberry muffin I had for breakfast was absolutely delicious! And the chicken soup I had for lunch was great – I liked how it was extremely salty like a regular brand would be. And for dinner, I was kind of nervous about it being shelf stable, but all the dinner entrees I’ve had have been yummy, including the ravioli I had day three!

The biggest challenge for my has been the 64 ounces of water I am supposed to be drinking. I like water, I always have. But I don’t think I’ve drank 64 ounces of ANYTHING combined except for when I was playing sports. That’s just a lot for me to take in. I’ve slowly worked my way up to drinking a bottle and a half a day of water, plus a cup of milk with my breakfast. I know it’s not the full 64 ounces of water I should be getting, but I’m getting there.

If you’re working on weight loss, let me know! I’d love to hear about your journey. 🙂

  1. Congratulations on taking steps to a healthier you! It’s best to lose 1-2lb per week, so you are right on track 🙂 I tried Nutrisystem a few years ago. Some of the food was pretty good; others not so much. BUT I have heard that they have improved the meals since then, so I may try it again at some point. It definitely took the guesswork out of what to eat each day. It’s perfect for busy people! I wish you the best of luck with your weight loss goal. You can do it!

  2. Good luck on your Nutrisystem challenge! Looking forward to your progress! 🙂

  3. wishing you great success. Hugs ( hopping over from VB)

  4. I just started working on dropping a few pounds myself per my doctor’s request. I have heard that Nurtisystem works but when you start eating real food, you have to learn how to limit your intake. Congratulations on your 1lb weight loss.

  5. Congratulations! Dieting is a lot easier said than done and for that I give you a lot of credit. I wish you much success in all your future endeavors.
