100 Miles in November – Are You In? #SlapDash100

Sharing is caring!

So you remember that post I did awhile back about getting off my butt and exercising? I’ve done better than I used to. I’m exercising at least 2 times a week – usually doing zumba or Just Dance on Wii. But I need to do better. I need to stop the excuses.

“I’m depressed and don’t feel like doing anything.”

“I have work/blogging I need to do.”

“I have a headache.”

Results or Excuses - Not Both #Fitness #SlapDash100 | Optimistic Mommu

I have to stop the excuses. If I don’t, I’m just going to gain more weight. Luckily with just exercising two times a week and eating a little better, I’m still losing a little weight. But it needs to be more.

100 Miles in November - Are You In? #SlapDash100 | Optimistic Mommy

Luckily Sadie over at Slap Dash mom has a new challenge… 100 Miles in in November. Sounds like a lot, don’t it? That really is only 3.33 miles a day. Luckily you can do pretty much anything to get your 100 miles – walk, run, bike, swim, or whatever. Oh, and if you can’t track mileage, 20 minutes on any exercise machine or any class/exercise video counts as 1 mile. So do an hour and you’ve got three miles in! You can read all the details over at Slap Dash Mom.

Oh, did I mention Sadie’s giving away some goodies if you completely the challenge? 😉

I’ll be doing a weekly check-in to let you know how I’m doing. This will include a weight check-in as well. I’ll do a post tomorrow, November 1st, so you can see where I’m at and what my complete goals are.

Who else is in? I plan on doing a mix of running/treadmill and zumba for 100 Miles in November. What are your plans? Have any encouragement for me? I’d love to hear it!
