There are lots of things that children would love, but then there are things that they would hate too and kids don’t hide their feelings when it comes to receiving presents. Gifts for babies
Babies can be hard to buy for because they don’t really want much but milk, sleep, and cleaning. In fact, they have no concept of what a present is so they can hardly write you a list of what they would really like to open on Christmas morning. So go for either a personalized baby gift, such as a photo frame, pillow, and baby clothing; or something for the infant’s parents to make their life easier, such as a baby carrier, blankets or maybe a bottle of wine!
Scholarly gifts
If the children you are buying for are of school age then you could get them something to help with their scholarly pursuits. This could include pencil cases, stationery, or the latest cool rucksack that will make them look stylish in the playground.
Animal magic
Most kids absolutely love animals, so any gift or toy that is animal-related is a good idea. This could be a cuddly soft teddy bear or a monkey puppet, or even a real live pet such as a hamster or mouse provided their parents (if that’s not you) give consent first!
Little pirates
Ever since the Pirates of the Caribbean films came out pirates have been incredibly popular with kids. So, anything to do with seafaring bandits will go down well. Buy fancy dress costumes or model ships and toys and the recipients of these presents will be occupied well into the New Year.
