Eight hours of undisturbed sleep is a must. Erratic sleep schedules can disrupt your metabolism, making you unhealthy or even sick. Insufficient sleep leads to stress, which facilities the stress hormone cortisol. This, in turn, breaks down the collagen making your skin lose its elasticity. If your body is sleep-deprived, it shows up on your face. Dark circles and puffiness develop under your eyes, making your skin look dull and dehydrated. To avoid all of these and to allow you skin cells to regenerate, get 8 hours of sound sleep, and wake up with a skin that feels and looks fresh.

  1. They keep their hands off their face 

As tempting it might be to prick that pimple in your face, pricking it will leave you with an ugly scar. The best way to go about it is to be patient while the pimple heals naturally. Using your nails can further worsen the pimple, causing it to aggravate further.

You can use an ice pack on your pimple if it’s irritating you too much. See a dermatologist if you think you’re getting frequent breakouts. Under no circumstances should you be picking at your pimples, for it causes the bacteria to spread and thereby increasing the frequency.

  1. They remove their makeup before sleeping. 

Makeup is composed of chemicals. Nowadays, the 24 hours formulations are often harsh on your skin. Removing your makeup before you retire to bed should be made a holy ritual for your skin. Remove all the traces of makeup on your skin and allow your skin to rest for the night. You can use micellar water or cleansing milk for this purpose.
