So, off you go hopping from one restaurant to another and then get back to your hotel room too tired to do even a 5-minute workout. Exercise in your hotel room

If you want to stay in shape while traveling, don’t forget to pack your mini band with you. This way, you can still perform some of your exercise routines even when you are inside your hotel room. One should spend at least 15 minutes a day doing seated band hip abductions, monster walks and lateral walk routines inside your hotel room as part of your fitness routine. Observe proper posture while on the airplane

Airplane seats do not allow your back to be in a proper posture while sitting. To counter this, perform Seated Figure Four and Seated Twist on an hourly basis while you are still aboard the plane. To ensure good lumbar support, you may also bring with you a scarf that you can roll up and place in your back. 

Get enough sleep

Sleep is so important especially when you’re traveling across different time zones. Besides, carrying heavy luggage from the airport to your destination may prove to be too tiring. Not to mention you have to walk all day to better familiarize yourself with the place and to enjoy its sights. These are just a few of the many reasons why you need to get enough sleep. Sleep is important for the proper functioning of your immune system. Remember that you cannot afford to get sick while away from home. 

Don’t forget to stretch

No matter how full your day will be, always take the time to stretch. This will not only make you feel refreshed. It will also spare yourself from muscle pains knowing that you will be on the road or aboard the plane for long hours. Stretch your back, arms, neck, shoulders, and legs. Do this again before bedtime.

These tips should make every traveler realize that it is so much possible to be healthy while also living in the moment. In fact, it would be difficult to live in the moment when you’re plagued with a disease. So, make sure you keep a healthy routine even when you’re traveling.
