Daisy Grass Wreath Tutorial

I’m so very excited to bring you this wonderful tutorial on how to make your own Daisy Grass Wreath! This is probably the favorite wreath I have ever come across! Learn how to make your own by following the simple steps below!

First you will need to gather your supplies. You will need:

• Styrofoam Wreath (I used a 12″ Green Wreath)
• Lion Brand Fun Fur Yarn in Lime ( I used about 1 1/4 skeins of yarn – how much you need depends on how big your wreath is.)
• Daisy Trim (Mine was Simplicity Brand.)
• Long Pink Pearlized Pins

Then you just keep wrapping, and wrapping and wrapping.

Keep wrapping until you have covered the entire wreath! Like I said up top, it took about 1 1/4 skeins of the yarn to cover the entire wreath. Overall, it took about an hour to cover the whole thing. You can just wrap and watch TV at the same time if you would like. 🙂

Next, you are going to take your daisy trim and cut in between the daisy so you have individual ones. You can have as many daisies as you want on your wreath – I did twenty.

Then you’re going to take a long pink pearlized pin, stick it into the center of your daisy and stick it in to your wreath. I did not stick the pin in all the way; I had it sticking up a little bit so the daisy kind of stood out from the grass (like real daisies do!).

You just stick your daisies wherever you wish until you have as many on as you would like, and you’re finished!

I already have a hook on my door so I just hung the wreath on it. I’m thinking about getting a pretty pink ribbon, a wide one, and using it to hang on the front door to up the pretty factor. 🙂
