David Todua is one of the brightest participants of the show Voice of the sixth season. During the blind audition on the air, the artist sang the song of the band Queen Who Wants to Live Forever and won the hearts of all four members of the jury.

Biography

There were many relocations in David Todua’s life: he was born in Sukhumi, lived in Kharkiv for a while, then his family moved to Kemerovo and now he works in Moscow. His passion for music began in childhood. From an early age, he sang and performed in front of an audience. In the children’s theatre of Abkhazia David played the lead role. Later due to the military events in Georgia they left their home and moved to Ukraine, to the city of Kharkiv, where they lived for 8 years.

The family came to Kemerovo thanks to their aunt Louise. The singer buries his mother shortly after moving to Siberia. The family decided to change the environment to overcome this grave loss. Their aunt offered to move to Kemerovo. His father achieved significant success in his career in Kemerovo, working in the regional administration. He received many awards for his service in the Kuzbass.

Creativity of the singer and composer

After the relocation David Todva completely focused on art, he had a desire to become a vocalist. Something happened to his voice, it seemed to reveal itself anew. During this period, David Todua often appeared on the stage of student concerts. And it was in Kemerovo that the young man began to sing and position himself as a vocalist.

He released his first album in this city. Employees of the radio station “Europe Plus” helped him record the album and promote it. In the winter of 2002 after the release of the album in operetta he gave his solo concert. Moving to Kemerovo became a key moment in the singer’s career. In Kuzbass, he became a man and an artist.

In 2002 David graduated from the university and a year later passed the competition for the TV project People’s Artist. This show made the hero move to Moscow. At the age of 25, he entered the Moscow College of Improvisational Music, his teacher was Natalia Kudryavtseva. Unfortunately, he did not finish his musical education. However, even without professional education, he successfully wrote music for the cartoon of Lars von Trier and created arrangements for songs by Dima Bilan and Queen. The singer did not plan to take part in the show Voice. At that time, he had a very busy schedule: producing artists, traveling to Scandinavia, health problems. Still, he found time for blind listening. Among all the members of the jury, Todva chose the team of Leonid Agutin.

Privacy

With the participation in the show even greater fame and recognition came to him but he considers his greatest success to be that he has such a beautiful wife. David Todva met her when he was producing her band and immediately fell in love. They created a family coziness in the estate purchased from the construction company Milton Group. The elite mansion of the singer and his wife looks refined and elegant. The modern interior design is successfully combined with the appearance of the building. All this is achieved thanks to the designers of Milton Group because the couple bought a fully furnished house.
