If you are a lover of fried chicken, I have a great ‘review’ to share with you! Recently I stopped by the new Bob Evans in our hometown, Harrison, Ohio, with my family. This location just opened in March, so I was curious to see how this one was service and food wise. I was not disappointed!
There were lots of different menu options available from the last time I was at a Bob Evans, which was at least a year or more ago. I love that Bob Evans is all about getting a good deal, especially with their new 3-Course Dinners! I got the Sirloin 3-course meal and my husband got the Broasted Chicken meal. I loved the steak, but I tried some of my husband’s Broasted Chicken – and oh my goodness! It is marinated and hand coated with a special blend of spices, then pressure fried so it’s the perfect combination of juicy on the inside but crispy on the outside. My husband said it’s some of the best chicken he has ever had! In the pictures above, you can see that he got the bowl of chili for his starter, and the caramel banana sundae for his dessert; not to mention, you get endless bread!
For only $9.99 the broasted chicken 3-course meal is one of the best values I have ever seen when it comes to a meal at a restaurant. You get 3 big pieces of chicken, plus the starter and a dessert. It was so good, that my husband and I actually went back a second time the next week and we both got the broasted chicken! We were actually one of the lucky ones to get it, because about 15 minutes after we got there they ran out of the broasted chicken – that is just how popular they are!
If your kids love chicken, they can even enjoy this delicious broasted chicken in a kids meal! I thought this was really cool! There’s something for the entire family.
I definitely recommend locating your local Bob Evans and stopping by and trying it out! You can’t beat the value and the flavor of this delicious meal! They have even made it convenient to order online as well!
