Doesn’t the above picture just get you excited for Christmas and the delicious baked goods that come with it? I know it does for me! There’s nothing better than holiday parties that include delicious, home baked cookies and other great desserts. I have lots of delicious looking goods on my Desserts board on Pinterest. One of them, definitely being these delicious looking and super cute Sparkling Snowman Cupcakes from Sisters Saving Cents:
One of the ingredients that these adorable cupcakes call for is oil. A good oil out there for you is definitely olive oil. It has a lot of great benefits. It’s usually what I use for baking. But I’ve found another great alternative as well and it’s made by Pompeian. Have you ever heard of Grapseed Oil? I sure hadn’t! Pompeian Grapseed Oil Spray is a light, cooking spray with a high smoke point – and it’s all-natural! Since it does have a high smoke point, it’s not just good for baking but also grilling and stir-frying. Their grapseed oil is imported from France.
My favorite featured of Grapeseed Oil is the fact that it is a rich source of Vitamin E and antioxidants. So you’re getting a vitamin and antioxidants that you need! Any way you can get those kinds of things is great – and getting them in a baked good? How great is that?! 🙂 I definitely recommend checking out Pompeian’s Grapeseed Oil page to read more about this great all natural, chemical free oil! Check out their recipe page for some inspiration for delicious dishes!
With the holidays coming up, Pompeian and Executive Chef Goldman, of Charm City Cakes, are challenging Americans to a Baking for Better Challenge. From November 4th through December 6th, they want you to follow @Pompeian on Instagram, then create your favorite holiday baked good using their Grapeseed Oil Spray and Instagram it and using the #Bake4Better hashtag and tag @Pompeian. The most innovative photographer will be chosen by celebrity pastry chef Duff Goldman and will receive a $5,000 donation in their name to their local food bank, as well as receive a Pompeian gift basket to continue better baking all year long! How fun does that sound? I will definitely be participating! I would love to see your photos!

Hmmmmm Grapeseed was one of the things that I used to use for healing my candida so I know it is very healthy for us. I have never used it for baking though, what I used was the ground powder. Those cookies look great.

The cookies look great; and I want to explore the heart healthy benefits of grapeseed oil.
Thanks.
i use Pompeiian brand oils as well. Love them!
Your cookies look amazing! I have to admit that decorating is not my strong suit. But, I do adore how the Pompeian 100% Grapeseed Oil is so easily integrated into ANY recipe. I really enjoyed the smoky notes when I was sauteeing up shrimp for dinner, and the fact that you can pack in some goodness while you’re at it just takes the cake. Literally 🙂

Who knew Pompeian Olive oil would make baking better. I have used it for years in my savory dishes, but never thought of using it to bake. Great tips.
To be honest, I never really thought about the oil I use in cupcakes or brownies until now. I cook with good oil so why not bake with a better than store brand version as well. Thanks for the enlightenment.
