This past Saturday I got to attend an awesome event at Kings Island amusement park near Cincinnati, Ohio. Banshee Brew Festival is your chance to sample more than 200 craft beers from over 50 breweries from all over the country! There is also delicious food and live music – and you can take some time to ride the awesome thrill rides that Kings Island has to offer! If you know me, I love festivals and being able to try out different food and drinks. Here is a great food festivals resource for 2019!
We each received a 5 oz. souvenir mug (seen above) that you use for your 15 sample tickets that are included in your ticket price. At each brewery’s tent they wash out your mug, which is super nice.
And there’s more included with your Banshee Brew ticket price! You get two food tickets – yes, TWO! Enjoy a meal when you get there, drink some beer, and enjoy another meal. Your food choices include:
- Italian Sausage topped with onions and peppers served with tortellini salad
- Pulled Pork served with coleslaw
- Mesquite grilled jumbo chicken wings served with broccoli salad
- Roasted corn station with chicken quarters
We all had the Italian Sausage topped with onions and peppers with tortellini salad. It was SO good! So good that we had it for both our meals!
There is live music each night at Banshee Brew Festival, too! We got to listen to The Rusty Griswolds play – and WOW! We are already planning on seeing them again in the near future. They rocked! They played a little bit of everything, but mainly 80s, and they seemed to have so much fun together. I can see why they’ve been rated the #1 cover band in Cincinnati 10 times!
Naked Karate Girls is playing Friday and then What She Said is Saturday. Enjoy your beer and dance and sing along to some great music!
As we were leaving Kings Island, we even got to see some fireworks! Fireworks happen at the end of each day the park closes at 10pm (or later) through Labor Day. What a fun way to end your day at Kings Island!

Banshee Brew Festival at King’s Island is a must-do if you’re in the Cincinnati area this coming weekend.
