We love baseball! It is hard not to root for our hometown team the Reds. When opening day rolls around we are ready to watch the games from the major league to the local youth team and eat all of the snacks hat the ball field is famous for!
Baseball Rice Krispies
It is a tradition that after the kids play a game, one of the parents provides a snack. I wanted to wow the team when I have snack duty, so I came up with these easy to decorate Rice Krispie treats. The smiles that these baseball Rice Krispie treats brings feels every bit as good as a grand slam!
These look every bit as good as they taste! But, even a novice decorator can handle this recipe! You can use your favorite vanilla frosting to decorate these to make the process even easier.
Baseball Rice Krispies
Easy baseball rice krispies that are sure to be a home run! Frosted and decorated like a baseball!
Ingredients
- 16 oz bag marshmallows
- 7 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 3 tablespoons softened butter
- Vanilla frosting
- Red food coloring
- food coloring
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine your marshmallows and butter and heat in the microwave for 1-2 minutes and mix.
- Mix in your Rice Krispies cereal until your cereal is evenly covered in your marshmallow mixture.
- Grease a 9x13" baking pan and press your Rice Krispies mixture into your pan firmly.
- Let set for a few hours or in the freezer for 15 minutes and use a circle cookie cutter to cut out circle shaped Rice Krispies.
- Fill a decorating bag with vanilla frosting and use to frost each circle Rice Krispies treat
- Mix a cup of vanilla frosting with red food coloring and scoop into a decorating bag.
- Use the red bag of frosting to draw the baseball lines on the Rice Krispies treats carefully.

- Decorating bags
- Large microwave safe bowl
- Small mixing bowl
- Long spoon
- 9×13 pan
- Non-stick cooking spray
- 4-5 circle cookie cutter
