A lot of people consider red, green, white, and yellow kratom to be strains, but in reality, those only represent the four different kratom veins. Borneo Kratom is a strain native to Borneo. White Borneo kratom is rare and usually more potent compared to the Green Borneo and Red Borneo varieties. The red varieties, however, have stronger aroma compared to the white and green varieties.

This strain originated in Cambodia, but it also grows in areas with similar climates such as Laos and Vietnam.

The Cambodian variety is a hybrid strain, which is a combination of red and green vein-horned leaves. This particular combination is uncommon, hence it’s not easy to get your hands on this strain. It’s also similar to the Maeng da strain in terms of genetic outline.

Dragon Strains

This strain shares most of its DNA with the Thai variety and comes with a high alkaloid count. It originates from only one plantation so it’s not easy to obtain as well.

The Elephant kratom strain is available in white, red, and green varieties. It is distinguished with its large leaves that look like elephant’s ears. This strain contains a high indole alkaloid count.
