How to use a portable toilet?

If you are thinking using a portable toilet is complicated, then you are completely wrong. Using a portable toilet is fairly easy. All you need to do is keep a few things in your mind while you’re using it, and you’re good to go!

To make it easier for you to understand, we noted down the steps you should follow to use.

Step 1: Prepare the tank.

First thing first, you open the lid of the toilet. Then pour some water and any sort of bio dissolver or digester into the hollow like space you will see at the bottom, also known as the holding tank. The bio dissolver or digester can be both liquid or powder. It will help to digest and break down any solid substance into the bowling tank.

After you put some water and dissolver, your bottom tank is ready to go.

Step 2: Fill up the piston

The next thing you want to do is pour fresh water into the tank by unswearing the piston in the opposite direction. If you have a water bottle as a backup and if you run out of water, then you don’t need to do this step. But it is quite handy to have water in the tank.

You can also use chemical products with the water to have your toilet extra clean. But it can also be a bit expensive to use that consistently.

Step 3: Release pressure

After you are done with that, close the lid and open the bottom drain. Now, this step is very important because temperature and altitude change as you travel to different places. This causes the tank to build up pressure. If you don’t do this step and flush it after using the toilet, then the pressure might build up and cause everything to lift upwards.

So keep the lid close and after doing this step, move on to the next one.

Step 4: Pump and flush

After doing the above step, open the lid and pump the mechanical pump on the left side of the toilet for about fifteen times.

Now just do your business, then open up the divider between the tank and flush. As the waste starts to go down, give a bit of assistance and let the extra water flow. Then unscrew the piston a bit to release the pressure to avoid any pressure build-up.

And that’s it! With these easy steps, you can use your portable toilet without any issue.

About portable bidet

Whether you’re using a regular toilet or a portable one, you need toilet paper. But using toilet paper every time you use the toilet could be both a hassle and a waste of money, especially when you could swipe it with a more convenient and cheaper option, a bidet.

Portable bidets come in different forms but have the same mechanism. It lest you spray water at a convenient angle to help you clean up after doing your business. It’s a lot like a jet spray, but you can carry it wherever you want and easily fill it up with clean water.

This makes it convenient to use for long drives and travels and makes it a more economical option than toilet paper. Unlike toilet paper, you don’t need to repurchase anything once you’re out of it when it comes to portable bidet. Just refill it and you’re good to go.
