Birthday Party – Themes Are Important!

Sharing is caring!

second birthday party cupcakes

If you have children, which I know that most of my readers do, you know how important birthdays are. Especially the birthday party. For us, our daughter’s second birthday is coming up… how does time seem to get a hundred times faster once you have a child? It seems like just yesterday I gave birth to her!

With a birthday comes the party. You want to make sure everything is perfect. Luckily since my daughter is so young, she really does not understand what is going on, but, of course, her daddy and I do. A great thing to do to make sure your child has fun is make the party “character themed” or make it her favorite animal. Last year for Riley’s first birthday party we did duck themed. For Riley loves Chica the Chicken from the Sprout channel, but since we cannot find any themed decorations or plates, we are going to do ladybug themed. She looks so good in red and black and she loved her Halloween costume from this past year, so we think it’s a good fit.

A good place to find great themed items for a birthday party is Party Pail. From ladybugs to Winnie the Pooh and so much more, you are sure to find something your child loves! And they have all kinds of items to go with each theme – plates, napkins, invitations, decorations and so much more!

What has been some themes that you have had for your child’s birthday parties?
