Blogger Haven Save Lids to Save Lives Event

Caitlin of SouthernSAHM and Courtney of Optimistic Mommy, the founders of Blogger Haven, are both hosting the Blogger Haven SLTSL Event. Blogger Haven is a newer blogger support community where any and all bloggers can find the help and support that they both need and deserve. We’re looking for bloggers to participate in the Blogger Haven SLTSL Event so that we can collect as many lids and codes as possible to help fight breast cancer.

Every blogger who signs up to help promote this event and promotes it to the fullest (as per the 3 requirements that are listed on the sign-up form) will be automatically entered into a giveaway for $50 Paypal cash.

SLTSL stands for Save Lids to Save Lives, a program that was started by General Mills.

“At General Mills, our mission is to make lives healthier, easier and richer. General Mills is Nourishing Lives. Our commitment to the fight against breast cancer is an important part of how we are Nourishing Lives.”

“Currently, 1 in 8 women living in the U.S. will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime. Since there is no cure for breast cancer, much more needs to be done in the fight against the disease. And because the disease touches so many lives, it’s critical that our work directly serves the people impacted by the disease.”

Caitlin and Courtney ask that everyone collect as many lids and codes as possible to help end the fight against breast cancer. All that we have to do is 1.) peel or clip a lid off a participating General Mills product and mail them to Caitlin and Courtney, and 2.) e-mail Caitlin and Courtney the codes we find! That’s it! We don’t have to worry about anything else — they’ll do the rest! And, in turn, we’ll get an entry (per lid/code) into the 5+ giveaways that will be hosted by Blogger Haven! The giveaways are secret but they will be releasing hints as to what the giveaway items are throughout the event!

If you are not a blogger but are are interested in participating in this event, more info will follow. Just keep your eyes peeled on my blog for more information!

I, Courtney, am very interested/invested in this cause because of my mom being a survivor of breast cancer. She was diagnosed 6 years ago and luckily it was just in stage 1, so it was treatable. I hope that someday there’s a complete cure for breast cancer. It means a lot to me if you join us in this. Thank you!
