The other day I shared my review of the luxurious St. Paul Hotel in Wooster, Ohio. Today I’m sharing about lunch on our first day at Broken Rocks Cafe!
Broken Rocks Cafe & Bakeryis a great place to enjoy a delicious meal with friends, family, and they have a party room as well. Their specialty includes artisan bread and they feature modern takes on various Italian dishes. They have appetizers, salads, sandwiches, pasta, steaks, pizza, breakfast, and of course desserts. They are open Monday-Thursday 9am-9pm and Friday and Saturday 9am-10pm.
After ordering they bring out some delicious bread and olive oil. It’s a great bread that’s crusty on the outside but has a soft inside – just the way I love it.
With all of the delicious options, it was tough to decide on what to try at Broken Rocks. While checking in to St. Paul Hotel, though, someone was talking about the fish sandwich here, so I decided to give it a try. And I am so glad that I did! The fish is pan friend with their signature breading and is topped with a lemon-caper sauce, lettuce and cheddar. On the side are their JoJo potatoes, which have a great spice to them. Just typing this up, my mouth is watering!
When you visit Wooster, Ohio, I highly recommend Broken Rocks Cafe and Bakery. I can’t wait to go back to Wooster just for the fish sandwich! I also can’t wait to try some of their dinner items and desserts as well. They have a Raspberry Creme Brulee on the menu that I wish I had room to try after lunch!

Lunch was provided, but all opinions are 100% my own.
