It’s Time To Get My Butt in Gear and Exercise!
A few days ago I joined a gym. Again. I had joined a gym a couple of months after Riley was born... so about two years ago. I went maybe three times. It was really too far away and with the vehicle we had at the time, it was costing us too much in gas. So I stopped going and cancelled my membership (luckily I was on a month-to-month "contract" so it wasn't too big of a deal). With my grief of losing my mom I have either been eating too much (I guess you would call it binge eating) or not … [Read more...]

RIP Mom.
It is with a very heavy heart that I have to say that my mom passed away Friday, May 10, 2013. It was so unexpected. I am so lost right now. My mom was my best friend. I will be taking some time off to deal with funeral arrangements, spend time with family and friends, and deal with my grieving. My mom meant everything to me and it's going to be so hard without her. Please keep my family in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you. … [Read more...]
LYSOL’s Healthing Initiative
Nope, read the title of this post correctly. No, I did not misspell healthy or cleaning or any other word. I will tell you what "Healthing" is in a little bit! If you are a mother or father, you know how important keeping things clean and sanity are. For my family, it is of utmost importance. We keep the kitchen, bathroom, Riley's toys, and just about everything as clean as possible. I think we've done pretty well at it, too, since Riley has only ever gotten two cold since she was born … [Read more...]

We've all heard about bed bugs. Whether it be from the news, someone is dealing with them, or (and hopefully you've never dealt with this) but had them yourself. They're a pain to get rid of. And they're definitely not something you want to have in your home, especially if you have children. There's a great infographic at Moxie Pest Control that tells you about many different facts of bed bugs, including how to tell the difference between a bed bug and other bugs, where to look for them and … [Read more...]

Wisdom Teeth Removal
Hello, my lovely readers. I just got home about an hour or so ago from getting my wisdom teeth out. I just wanted to let you all know that it went well, my mouth is just really swollen right now and I'm waiting for my pain medicine to kick in because it's starting to hurt pretty badly. I probably won't post anything for a couple of days while I recuperate. I thank God that Miles is on vacation this week and he'll be taking care of me. I'm so blessed. <3 Have a great rest of the … [Read more...]
