Celebrate #PorkRindDay, Play Pass The PigSkin, & Enter a #Giveaway! | Optimistic MommyDo you enjoy pork rinds? Have you ever tried Rudolph’s pork rinds? My family and I enjoy them – they’re great as snacks by themselves, or you can dip them in spreads, use them as breading on fried chicken, and more! Rudolph Foods has been committed to providing excellence for more than 59 years and offers high-quality, low-cost pork snacks in a variety of flavors. Did you know that Rudolph’s was launched in Ohio by entrepreneur John Rudolph in 1955?

Celebrate #PorkRindDay, Play Pass The PigSkin, & Enter a #Giveaway!Pork Rind Appreciation Day is February 1st, just in time for the biggest football day of the year! It’s a great annual event to celebrate how pigskin and pig skins go together. 🙂 Rudolph Foods is in their fourth year of supporting the Gridiron Greats Assistance Fund, a nonprofit organization that provides medical and financial assistance to former National Football League (NFL) players through it’s Pork Rind Appreciation Day Campaign. Visit PorkRinds.com until the Big Game Day to play Pass the Pigskin; if you successfully pass to Ickey Woods in the end zone, then you will be entered to win $3,500 and a year’s worth of pork rinds from Rudolph Foods!

A little more about The Gridiron Greats Assistance Fund:
The mission is to assist retired NFL players in need who were pioneers of the game and who have greatly contributed to the NFL’s status as the most popular sport in America. The Fund provides hands-on assistance to help retired players and their families deal with medical hardships they face after great careers in football. They helped former Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Ickey Woods, known for the Ickey Shuffle, to get both of his knees replaced.

Also, now through Pork Rind Appreciation day, a portion of the sales of all Rudolph Foods branded products will be donated to the organization’s assistance fund (up to $15,000). You can buy locally at Walmart!
