Celebrate Your Birthday in Quarantine

Sharing is caring!

Are you going to have a birthday in the Coronavirus quarantine, or someone you like? Of course, nothing substitutes eye to eye, hugs and a good party with those we love. But that does not mean that the date needs to go blank because of the isolation. Which, incidentally, is essential for us to have many other birthdays, right?

If you are having a birthday in quarantine, know that there are several ways to have fun alone, with those who are in isolation with you or, virtually, with friends and family who are not close by. Make a special birthday video for your friends and family using birthday video maker and gift them.

As I travel a lot and have friends in different countries, I have some practice with that. I have already spent some of my birthdays alone away from home and have already celebrated birthdays of friends and family from a distance that I could not personally meet. So, I gathered some ideas for you to be inspired and make this anniversary in quarantine the best possible!

Spa day

A way to celebrate your life and your body is to take a moment, or even the whole day, to take care of your physical well-being. Meditate, do yoga, take a longer bath and moisturize your entire body. Ask those who live with you to have a massage, or do one yourself on your arms, legs, neck and head.

Use your beauty products or search for recipes for homemade moisturizing masks and apply them to your hair and face. Make a foot bath, light incense or scented candles, listen to peaceful music, have a relaxing tea. If you have a bathtub, take a bubble bath. Give yourself a breather!

Thanks

There is also something free and that does not require any specific material for you to do on your birthday in the quarantine: celebrate the good things in your life, whether from the present or the past. Make a list of things you are grateful for and write to the people who are important to you.

Also thank yourself for everything you have faced, conquered, ways in which you have overcome yourself. Many times, we get carried away thinking about what is missing in our life, about the goals that we have not yet reached, in the current scenarios that are not what we would like. Obviously, I don’t know anything about your life and its difficulties, but I propose an exercise, if possible: how about spending even one day focusing 100% on the good things?
