Celebrating Kindness #SproutClangers

Sharing is caring!

This is a sponsored post in collaboration with “Clangers” and Coolabi. All opinions are my own.Celebrating Kindness

This time of the year is a fun one – from Christmas, to New Year’s, and more, it is also a great time to give back to the community in some way. Just like the Clangers, we love showing kindness to our community. I’m excited to share some of our traditions this time of year, including collecting and donating canned goods for a local food pantry!

Some of our favorite traditions include crafting and baking. Riley and I love creating things to decorate our home with at Christmas and New Year’s time. And, of course, you can’t forget baking! We love making cookies to take to our family and friend get togethers. Our favorite recipe this season were these Funfetti Christmas Cake Mix Cookies. They were a huge hit.

Riley Giving Back -02 I try to show Riley how important it is to give back to those who are less fortunate. Right after we first had Riley we had to use food pantries every so often. Since we are doing much better financially, we like to give back to our local food pantry for the times we have used it. So we try to put together a couple boxes of canned goods. Riley loves to help out by putting the cans in the boxes and helping us take them into the pantry. She gives lots of smiles and I think we brighten the worker’s days by donating.

Riley Giving Back -01Being able to give back makes my family and I feel so good. Just like the Clangers, we love to show kindness, acceptance and generosity to our fellow humans. How do you celebrate and give back during the holiday season? Share in the comments below!Clangers
