I don’t know about you, but I am super excited for fall to start tomorrow! To me, that means cooler weather, being closer to holiday season, and pumpkin flavored everything! In celebration of the release of Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier and M&M’s, I decided to create a yummy Chocolate Pumpkin Ice Cream. And guess what? It only has 5 ingredients!
First I had to stop by Walmart to pick up the chocolate part of this yummy treat – the M&M’s! I love how there are so many varities of M&M’s to pick from. I just went with the regular milk chocolate ones this time, but you can switch it up and pick whichever kind of M&M’s you would like!
Here are all of the ingredients you will need to make this Chocolate Pumpkin Ice Cream:
- ~1 Cup M&M’s
- 4 Bananas
- 1/3 Cup Maple Syrup
- 1 1/2 Cups Pumpkin Puree
- 1/3 Teaspoon Pumpkin Pie Spice
You’ll first start out by throwing all of the ingredients in a mixer. I chose to use my stand mixer, because it’s super easy. Plus Riley loves helping out and watching everything mix up.
Mix everything together, on a low speed, until everything is combined well. Make sure the bananas are smooth.
Then just put the mixture in a container that can be frozen and put in the freezer. Freeze until it’s solid, and then enjoy! How easy is that?
I added a small handful of extra M&M’s to the top of mine. You can never have too much chocolate, right?! 🙂 Enjoy this while watching Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier! That is what my husband and I did last night. We are huge superhero lovers, and we enjoyed this movie very much! You can also save some money by using this coupon at Walmart to save $5 when you purchase two M&M’s Brand Chocolate Candies and the Captain America: The Winter Soldier DVD! You can also go to HeroesEatMMs to get this coupon and take some fun quizzes to see what super hero or M&M you are. Make sure to share your results on social media with the hashtag #HeroesEatMMs! Have fun!
I’m a 20-something stay-at-home mother and wife. I have an amazing husband, a beautiful daughter, two loving dogs, and a lazy cat. I wouldn’t change my life for anything! I love to read, listen to music, cook and blog!
