Disclosure: Stamp-n-Storage is providing their products for a craft room makeover, but all opinions are 100% my own.
I have some very exciting news to share with you today! I am partnering with Stamp-n-Storage for a craft room makeover! I will be transforming an extra bedroom in our home into a craft room of my very own! Today I will be sharing my plans for this room with you, as well as a couple before photos – and a fun contest for all of you!
When we moved in about 2 years ago we just made this extra bedroom a storage room. We’ve just kind of thrown things that didn’t have a place or that we wanted to deal with later in here. Well, needless to say – I’m ready to stop being so unorganized with my crafts, and I want the spare bedroom to not be such an eyesore. Granted, we usually just keep the door closed but every time I go in there I get a little upset because we haven’t done anything with it yet.
That’s all changing now, though! I am partnering with the great folks over at Stamp-n-Storage to create the craft room of my dreams! Combined with their great craft organization products and products I am purchasing myself, I am super excited to share my reveal with you. Of course I’m not just ready for that yet. I have to do a bit of planning first – and that’s where my lovely husband comes in.
My husband, Miles, came up with a simple floor plan for me with the main furniture I will be purchasing or that I already have. The furniture includes:
- Dresser – Was given to us by a family member.
- IKEA Kallax Workstation
- Billy Bookcase
And I am super excited to receive and show off the products that Stamp-n-Storage is sending me! They should be arriving this week – make sure to watch my social media for some previews of them! Here are the items I will be receiving:
- Paper Holders – Great for my scrapbook paper and vinyl. I love that these fit into the IKEA Kallax system!
- Stacked Marker Holder – Fits into the Kallax system as well!
- Six Drawer Storage – Will be great for buttons, paint, Silhouette accessories, etc.
- Ribbon Shelf – I inherited a lot of ribbon from my mom who passed away almost 2 years ago and I’m excited to have a place dedicated to my ribbon stash.
- Washi Tape Holder – I’ve accumulated a good stash of washi tape as well.
To go along with this makeover, I have an exclusive contest available for just the readers of Optimistic Mommy! Three lucky winners will win a $75 Stamp-n-Storage store credit! One winner will be announced April 23rd, another on May 3rd, and the final winner will be announced on May 18th. To enter, simply visit the contest page at Stamp-n-Storage. Good luck to all who enter! I’m excited for you all to try Stamp-n-Storage’s products!
Stay tuned next week for an in progress post letting you know how the makeover is going. And don’t forget to follow me on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter for posts on the makeover as well!

I’m a 20-something stay-at-home mother and wife. I have an amazing husband, a beautiful daughter, two loving dogs, and a lazy cat. I wouldn’t change my life for anything! I love to read, listen to music, cook and blog!
Sounds like a great plan – I need to do that with my office space! The cluttered mess is driving me crazy!
This looks like it is going to be fun and turn out great! I had never heard of stamp and storage but I am going to follow and check out the progress. I found you over on the Coffee & Conversation linky party. Thanks for sharing your plans! I’m excited to see how it turns out!
I long to have a wonderful craft room where I could keep all of my things and have a special space for my work. Thanks so much for sharing at the Thursday Favorite Things Blog Hop!
I like your hand-drawn blueprint for the craft room. You must have measured everything with a tape measure or one of those laser tape measures. My dad who was a carpenter and handy DIY person said to measure twice or even three times, and cut once.
This is wonderful, and I didn’t know they had so many ways to store products for crafts ,, how awesome!
Great ideas! Love the blueprint! Thank you very much for joining in the celebration of #purebloglove, we enjoy having you each week. I hope to see you on Thursday at 8PM, EST through Sunday night. ~Cydnee
