My craft room makeover is coming along nicely! I’m excited to share with you a few in progress photos ahead of the big reveal in a couple weeks!
So at the last minute before we started putting furniture together, I decided I wanted to paint one of the walls for an accent wall. So we headed to Walmart and got some paint. I decided on Pretty and Pink Petunia.
Let me just say – I am so glad I decided to paint! I absolutely love the color I chose. It really adds some color and brightness to the room!
After painting we had to move the furniture boxes back in the room – which Riley decided to “help” daddy with. I just love this photo of them high fiving each other and had to share. 🙂
Next came the “fun” of putting all the furniture together. Let me just say this – I am so glad that Miles loves to put things together. Because when it comes to furniture, I don’t particularly care for it. But he loves it and got everything put together within a couple hours!
The cat loves my IKEA Kallax system… at least he did when it was laying on the floor being put together. And Riley liked “measuring” it.

I thought I would give you a preview of a couple of my Stamp-n-Storage products. Above is the ribbon shelf. I just love how big and roomy it is – can’t wait to show you it being put to use!
And here is the Wash Tape Holder. I am in love with how sturdy each Stamp-n-Storage piece is. I know it will last me for years and years to come.
Here is a list of the other products I have received:
- Paper Holders – Great for my scrapbook paper and vinyl. I love that these fit into the IKEA Kallax system!
- Stacked Marker Holder – Fits into the Kallax system as well!
- Six Drawer Storage – Will be great for buttons, paint, Silhouette accessories, etc.
I did make a few adjustments to my original plan. I have moved the dresser into the closet to make a little more room, and have moved another 6 cube system into the room for my yarn. This weekend will be spent organizing my craft supplies!
My photographer is coming on Tuesday to take pictures of my completed room! I absolutely cannot wait to share it with you! A lot of love has gone into this project and I cannot tell you how excited I am to finally have a room of my own for my love of crafting!
