My craft room makeover is coming along nicely! I’m excited to share with you a few in progress photos ahead of the big reveal in a couple weeks!

Optimistic Mommy's Craft Room Makeover: In ProgressSo at the last minute before we started putting furniture together, I decided I wanted to paint one of the walls for an accent wall. So we headed to Walmart and got some paint. I decided on Pretty and Pink Petunia.Optimistic Mommy's Craft Room Makeover: In ProgressLet me just say – I am so glad I decided to paint! I absolutely love the color I chose. It really adds some color and brightness to the room!

After painting we had to move the furniture boxes back in the room – which Riley decided to “help” daddy with. I just love this photo of them high fiving each other and had to share. 🙂Optimistic Mommy's Craft Room Makeover: In Progress

Next came the “fun” of putting all the furniture together. Let me just say this – I am so glad that Miles loves to put things together. Because when it comes to furniture, I don’t particularly care for it. But he loves it and got everything put together within a couple hours!Optimistic Mommy's Craft Room Makeover: In Progress

The cat loves my IKEA Kallax system… at least he did when it was laying on the floor being put together. And Riley liked “measuring” it.Optimistic Mommy's Craft Room Makeover: In Progress

Here’s a sneak peek at my new chair!

I thought I would give you a preview of a couple of my Stamp-n-Storage products. Above is the ribbon shelf. I just love how big and roomy it is – can’t wait to show you it being put to use!Optimistic Mommy's Craft Room Makeover: In Progress

And here is the Wash Tape Holder. I am in love with how sturdy each Stamp-n-Storage piece is. I know it will last me for years and years to come.

Here is a list of the other products I have received:

I did make a few adjustments to my original plan. I have moved the dresser into the closet to make a little more room, and have moved another 6 cube system into the room for my yarn. This weekend will be spent organizing my craft supplies!

My photographer is coming on Tuesday to take pictures of my completed room! I absolutely cannot wait to share it with you! A lot of love has gone into this project and I cannot tell you how excited I am to finally have a room of my own for my love of crafting!
