Sharing is caring!

A brow lift is done to enhance the look of the brow, forehead, and the area surrounding the eyes by lifting the skin and soft tissue of the brow and forehead. The procedure is known as forehead rejuvenation, brow lift, or forehead lift. People who generally have a brow lift have brow asymmetry or a brow that is low and sagging. The procedure can be done in conjunction with other facial procedures, such as a face-lift or eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty).

Risks linked to brow lifts

  • Scarring might be noticeable after doing the procedure.
  • A brow lift can result in impermanent or perpetual numbness on the top of the scalp or numbness on your forehead.
  • Brow lifts can lead to asymmetry, with one or both of your eyebrows seeming too high. You can find eyebrow embroidery for men. This might even out during your healing period. Ongoing brow position or shape issues is treatable by having additional surgery.
  • You can have hair loss at the area where the incision was made or an elevated hairline. If the hair loss is not improving on its own, it can be resolved with hair grafting or with scar excision.

Just like having any other extensive surgery, a brow lifts can pose the risk of infection, bleeding, or adversative reaction to the anaesthesia.
