Sharing is caring!

There is no such thing as saying no to a warm cup of coffee be it a Caf au lait (café Latte), Espresso, Cappuccino, or a Piccolo Latte (Macchiato). Coffee is an all-time favorite beverage that has over the past millennia helped change the course of our history. Let’s not even get started on the benefits of a good cup of coffee because it will take us years!

A good cup of coffee will help to stimulate your nerves in a way that a cup of tea won’t. Hey, there’s a good reason why your A.M ‘pick me up’ cup of coffee goes by the name of a cup a’ Joe. There are various theories that we wouldn’t want to get into today, but you get the point! A good cup of coffee is loved more in so many cultures around the world and whether it’s brewed modernly or traditionally, there’s something about a good cup of coffee that makes you tick. It has an immense rich flavor that rejuvenates you, the savior taste, and it will naturally complement a morning mood, making it a must-have.

That said, below are different ways to make your coffee in the morning.

1. Try A ‘Pour Me Over’

From single-origin coffees, you can create rich flavors in the morning by doing a simple pour-over. This is a specialty that’s made by simply pouring hot water in a carafe or a mug through coffee grounds in a filter. The technique used here will create a savoring taste by allowing water to naturally extract coffee oils and its fragrances. You may choose to invest in a hot water dispenser for your home to help make it easier when making hot water for your hot cups of coffee in the morning. This is one of the many must-have coffee appliances that will help to make your morning coffee preparations seem easier. Watching your coffee creation come to life is something that ought to set your taste buds running, especially if you are a coffee enthusiast. Works well too for new home coffee brewers.

2. Make a Barista Espresso

The same beans that make brewed coffee will also make a cup of espresso. The difference is that espressos have a silkier texture, are thicker, and are served in small strong shots. They are creamier, smell nice, and have a rich bitter-ish sour taste. And this is the quality of consistency that most people look for in this perfect blend. This is what gives the espresso drink an overpowering reputation.

The making of a perfect espresso begins from the roasting of coffee beans. From here, finely grounded coffee beans are pressed with steaming water and milk to attain a smooth blend. There are other espressos you can try, including cappuccinos, coffee lattes, mochas, Americanos, and latte macchiatos to mention but a few.

3. Try a Ristretto

A ristretto is made in a similar way you make espresso, but only half of the amount of water is used when making a ristretto. A ristretto brings out the aromatic qualities of the espresso while at the same time, adding that finer ground coffee taste. It’s more concentrated with a fuller body compared to a normal espresso shot and it creates a much less bitter taste.

One method of making a ristretto is to firmly tamp the roasted and ground coffee in a barista espresso machines’ port-filter basket. This method creates increased compaction of the coffee, allowing the coffee to maintain its original farm taste.

4. French Press

Want an on-the-go superior coffee that is consistent in flavor, then it’s your morning to try the French press method. Essentially, coffee press flavors are rich. You cannot ignore the smell of great quality coffee while in the coffee press. It has a combination of those flavor-rich oil aromas, antioxidants, and caffeine. This will best be diffused and preserved when ground coffee gets soaked, steeped, and stained with hot water in a press pot. The French press method gives you coffee that is complex in taste, expressive in nature, and one that has a luscious flow. The French press method works easily and with this method, you can make a vanilla French press cappuccino, a chai latte, or a chamomile tea latte whenever you need that kick-starting every morning.

Whatever method you choose to make your coffee on your way to work every morning, you can be sure of one thing, it will be the best thing to get you activated to face the day’s challenges. However, a good cup of coffee requires that you get quality coffee beans to make the process a successful one. These can be found in your convenient grocery stores.
