I have always wanted to have a camera to record things for while we are away. For two reasons. One, in case anyone were to break in our home, we would have them on camera. The second reason? To see what funny things our cats and dogs do when we are away.
This Eyeclub Hidden Camera and Alarm Clock is small, but nice. It kind of freaked me out at first because when I was opening the package it was talking. So do not be surprised if this happens to you. I was a bit intimidated at first by it, but while the camera/alarm clock charged for the first time I Just read the detailed instruction manual that it comes with. It is super easy to set up. I love that it comes with a SD card so I didn’t have to search my house for one that wasn’t being used already. After recording a day’s worth of video and sound, I just put the mini SD card in an adapter I have and plugged it into my computer. The sound quality surprised me – it’s very good. We put our camera in our living room where it is well lit, so the quality of the video was pretty good as well. I would say it’s as good as vivint doorbell camera.
This is a very nice hidden camera and alarm clock. It makes me feel more at ease about if something were to happen while we were gone, plus I get to see what our crazy animals are up to while we are gone (and they are pretty dang funny, let me tell you).
