I have said before that fall is one of my favorite seasons. One of the reasons being because of Halloween and Thanksgiving – which brings families together. After losing my mom unexpectedly in May, family has become that much more important to me. I love spending time with my families, especially my in-laws. Honestly, a year ago I never would have said that. Luckily things have changed and I feel closer to my husband’s family than ever. I am so thankful for everything they do for us. One thing we love to do together is sit around and just talk. During this cool weather that we have been having, we have been drinking coffee together as well. We love a good strong coffee that we prepare with a stovetop espresso maker. We usually enjoy it with a flavored creamer. With everything being pumpkin this time of year (which I love), I was excited to see that Nestle Coffeemate came out with a Pumpkin Spice liquid creamer!
The other day we were able to get together and have dinner and coffee together and enjoy this delicious Pumpkin Spice creamer – and let me tell you, it was a hit! My brother-in-law, Stephen, said it got better and better with each drink!
Honestly, I base if I’m going to like a coffee creamer by the smell of it. And this one surpassed my liking because it smells amazing! The flavor is amazing, with a hint of cinnamon and other spices that you find in pumpkin pie. Delicious!
What goes better with coffee than coffeecake? I didn’t want to double up on pumpkin, so I decided to make a Cherry Cream Cheese Coffeecake! And here’s the recipe for all of you to enjoy with your coffee and Nestle Coffeemate!
For this yummy coffeecake you just need a few ingredients:
- 2 – 8 oz. Packages Refrigerated Crescent Dinner Roll Dough
- 21. oz Can Cherry Pie Filling
- 8 oz. Cream Cheese
- 1/2 Cup Powdered Sugar
- 1 Egg
- 1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
You will be making a glaze for the top and for that, you will need:
- 1/2 Cup Powdered Sugar
- 2-3 Teaspoons Milk
First you will unroll your crescent roll dough and separate the triangles. Spray a circular pan with some non-stick spray. (I just used a springform pan that I had handy.) You’ll take ten of them and arrange them on the bottom of a circular pan with the wide ends towards the outside and the points meeting in the middle. Pinch the seams closed.
In a stand mixer, or with a hand mixer, combine the powdered sugar, cream cheese, egg and vanilla extra until somewhat smooth. Spread over the dough. Top the cream cheese mixture with the cherry pie filling.
You’ll take the rest of your crescent roll triangles and place on top of the coffeecake evenly. Like this:
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown. Let cool slightly. Mix the ingredients for the glaze and drizzle on top. Voil You have a delicious looking Cherry Cream Cheese Coffeecake!
Now make yourself some coffee and pour some Nestle Coffeemake Pumpkin Spice creamer in and enjoy!
Isn’t your mouth watering? Mine sure is!
Luckily we had a couple slices of this coffeecake leftover after our family gathering, so my husband and I got to enjoy it and another cup of coffee with Nestle Coffeemate Pumpkin Spice creamer together before he had to go to work the next morning. I think it tasted better the next day warmed up! 🙂
I’m a 20-something stay-at-home mother and wife. I have an amazing husband, a beautiful daughter, two loving dogs, and a lazy cat. I wouldn’t change my life for anything! I love to read, listen to music, cook and blog!

I am not even sure we have these in the UK – not seen them, but I don’t do coffee so perhaps that is why. Looks like a great way to get some excellent flavouring into things though. Thanks for the tip, and also for linking up to the Parenting Pin it Party as well. xx
