Family time is important. Now that Riley is in preschool, we try to spend even more quality time together. Since we all are major lovers of food, we took a trip to Richmond, Indiana which is about an hour away from Cincinnati, Ohio. They just opened a Buffalo Wings & Rings there and we were excited to experience it!
It has been a very long time since I have visited a Buffalo Wings & Rings. I was probably about 10 or so. So I had really no idea what to expect on the menu… except for wings, of course. I was very pleasantly surprised though, that they had a little bit of everything! Like chicken? Get wings! Like steak? Get a yummy quesadilla! Trying to eat more salads? They’ve got plenty of those! And they have a great kid’s menu, so you know they are very kid friendly.
We wanted to start with an appetizer and there was a picture of the Buffalo Chicken Nachos that totally won us over. Well, let me tell you… they were even more delicious than they looked! Since we had Riley, they were kind enough to offer to make the buffalo sauce mild and to put the jalapenos on the side for us adults. We will be returning just for these nachos! My mouth is watering just thinking about them! LOL!
After those delicious nachos, Buffalo Wings & Rings had big shoes to fill. 😉 Riley got the Dino Nuggets and Fries. And she loved them! She likes dinosaurs, so to have one of her favorite foods in the shape of dinosaurs? She couldn’t have been happier. Just look at this smile!
My father got the boneless wings in hot garlic parmesan. With their wings, you get to pick the flavor and the amount of heat you like. I love that! He got them with the Bleu Cheese Dip, celery, Parmesan Garlic Aioli Fries. The fries are natural cut and topped with a Garlic Aioli and shaved Parmesan cheese. I stole a few of these, and let me tell you – these are seriously the best fries I have ever tasted!
My husband is a big burger guy, so that’s what he went with. The Chorizo Nacho Burger was the one of his choice. It has spicy chorizo sausage with a queso sauce, tortilla strips, tomato, jalapenos and cilantro. He, also, got the Parmesan Garlic Aioli Fries, as well – and loved them, too!
For me, I love steak and mushrooms. So to see a Mushrooms Steak Quesadilla, that was a no-brainer for me. It has lots of grilled sirloin steak, sauteed mushrooms, Cheddar Jack and Bleu cheese on a whole wheat tortilla. It also comes with a bistro sauce, which is delicious! I got mine with a side of seasoned potato wedges with queso blanco on the side.
Buffalo Wings & Rings definitely gets thumbs up from all of us! We are still talking about it almost a week later, and cannot wait to go back. From the delicious food to the courtesy staff, it was one of the best visits to a restaurant we have had in a long time. It is great for a family outing, or for sports enthusiasts since there are TVs lining all of the walls. If you are in the Richmond, Indiana area, or are near any Buffalo Wings & Rings, I definitely recommend stopping by and trying it out! I am sure you will not be disappointed!

Those nachos look delicious. I am a sucker for a plate of nachos while I’m waiting for my entree. Problem is, I eat SO much that I have little room left for my meal. haha! I just can’t pass up that melted cheese and other toppings.

That looks soooo good! I love nachos… and fries. The Parmesan Garlic fries sound delicious. But that burger with the jalapenos on it, that’s probably what I would want most!
