It’s almost summer – which means lots of fun in the sun! For many it means birthdays. Summer and parties always combine well, especially for summer birthdays! I’m here to share with you some ideas for your summer bashes from decorations, costumes to food!
Water Slides
One of my favorite parts of summer is the pool. Make it more fun with water slide rentals New Orleans!
Food
One of the most important parts of a party (to me, at least) is, of course, the food! You have your normal hot dogs, hamburgers, steaks, brats, metts, corn and more. You can always mix it up and try different things, though! You can always have a “camping” party and include recipes like S’mores Pops! Kids and adults alike are sure to love them!
Costumes
Costumes aren’t just for Halloween! You can find lots of great costumes on the internet on websites such as Mr.Costumes.com. Have a fun costume party where kids and adults can dress up as their favorite Disney character, or wear a superhero capes, or in their favorite era costume! Make sure to have every vote for the Best Dressed and the winner could win a gift card, or make a basket filled with goodies out of a plastic sand pail – include a water bottle, beach towel, sunscreen, and a few other summer and/or beach goodies!
Decorations
The decorations are always lots of fun to do. You can either make your own or buy them from a store. If you are having a more formal party, these fruit button napkins would be super cute, super easy and relatively inexpensive to make! For more inexpensive decorations, I definitely recommend checking out your local Dollar Store. now is the perfect time to pick up bright colored and beach-inspired decor, both for indoors and outdoors. I always like to try to plan to decorate both the inside and outside, since you never know if there’s going to be rain!
