If you have a fitness lover, or someone who is working towards getting healthy and fit, then I have a pretty nice gift idea for you! It’s called the Misfit Shine Elegant Wearable Tracker. This tracker keeps track of your steps and calories burned, as well as also keeps track of activities such as swimming, bicycling, soccer, and tennis. If your friend or family member does any of these things, it’s a great gift for them! Not to mention the fact that it can also track how well you sleep!
The Misfit Shine Elegant has a water-resistant design which is how it allowed you to swim with it on. I like this, as well, since i usually forget to take off a watch or anything else before getting in the shower! Speaking of watch, it also has a watch function which allows you to see the time by double tapping the screen.
I want to warn you that you need to make sure you, or the person you’re giving this to has an iPhone 4S, 5, 5S, 5C, iPod 5th Generation, iPad 3rd or 4th Generation, or an iPad Mini. Unfortunately I did not know this before receivin the product, so I cannot tell you how the app is. You can keep track of your daily steps daily by just checking your Shine by double tapping to see your progress towards the default goal of 10,000 steps. I did contact Misfit and they said they are working on other iOS systems as well as Android to come out sometime early next year. Once that happens, I will definitely update and let you know how the tracking is!
