Guacamole Salsa

Sharing is caring!

The other day, a lady was giving out samples at Walmart of a guacamole dip along with a famous salsa. I don’t care for guacamole but I dipped a chip into the guacamole, and then the salsa and it was pretty good. So I decided to attempt my own spin on the two and make Guacamole Salsa! I am so glad I did – it is delicious! Here is the recipe for it! Let me know how you like it! 🙂

Ingredients:
3 Ripe Avocados
1 Can Diced Tomatos with Green Chilies, Drained
Onion, Diced (Can put as much as you want – I used about 1/2 cup)
1 Teaspoon Lemon Juice
Salt & Pepper, To Taste
Tortilla Chips

Directions:

  1. Cut the avocodos in half, remove the pits, and then use a spoon to scrape out the avocodo. Mash it with a fork.
  2. Take the drained can of tomatoes with green chilies and the diced onion and mix it with the avocado. Then add the lemon juice and salt and pepper! Serve with tortilla chips.

How easy is that? My husband loves it! If you want, pin and share with your friends!

  4. Interesting! I’m not a huge guacamole fan but this recipe is tempting!

  5. Added to my recipe folder. I’ll let you know when I try it. I will probably add cilantro because I love using cilantro with most things.

I have never tried Guacamole but seeing your recipe I may just have to make some now.

  7. looks and sounds good

  8. This is almost exactly like my recipe, only I use fresh tomatoes and jalapeno I’ll have to try it with Rotel next time. I’m with Dani up above, gotta add cilantro. Me and my family love that stuff.

  9. adventure mom says

Our family loves guacamole. We use salsa if we don’t have tomatoes. Might have to make mexican tonight.

  10. We do our own spin on Guac Salsa here but it has Miracle Whip in it. Yes I know, when I first saw my man do this I thought he was NUTS but it works well and allows you to make more dip without having to have a million avocados. We just started growing a few Avocado Trees in 9 years I might just have enough to make me a happy lady we can’t get enough over here! 🙂

  11. Oh my goodness, I LOVE guacamole and have never tried it from scratch! This WILL be put to use! YUM!

  12. Oh, I so miss my guacamole eating days! I love it, but am allergic, and I don’t want to push it, and end up in the ER or something;)
