There’re germs, once in your body, that can cause grievous adverse health effects. We all have seen the impacts of the current pandemic, COVID-19. This is why it is critical to beat germ as soon as possible. Even so, you need to understand the kind of germs you’re dealing with. Since germs are classified into four; fungi, bacteria, protozoa, and viruses, know the kind of germs at hand. Only then will you be able to beat the germ effectively.

Also, since germs only cause havoc when they get to the body, you need to know how to prevent them from accessing your body.

Target Surfaces That Are Possibly Highly Infectious

Surfaces as doorknobs, microwave handles, cookers, and fridge handles can be dangerous if germs settle on them. Unfortunately, our eyes cannot see them. As such, everyone will touch such surfaces and carry the germs with them, and infect others.

To avoid such cases, sanitize your hands as soon as you arrive home. Let everyone else does the same. Next, use a sanitized dish-cloth to wipe all those surfaces.

Wipe All Personal Gadgets

Most personal gadgets, while at home, may no longer be personal. Your kids, as well as your spouse, might want to use your mobile phone, earphones, and computer. You cannot deny them permission all the time. To keep everyone safe, therefore, wipe each of those gadgets regularly.

Since your naked eyes cannot see the germs, you might not know the kind of germs you’re dealing with. As such, we recommend using a disinfectant that can kill even the most potent germs. Be sure, though, to disconnect the gadget from the source of power lest it do you harm while wiping.

Wipe Clean All Kitchen Surfaces

While cleaning utensils, ensure that you wipe all the surfaces. Sometimes even surfaces that look clean could be having germs on them. Bearing in mind that this is where you prepare and cook food, it’s easy to eat contaminated food. Consequently, all of you could fall ill. So as not to fall prey to such incidences, disinfect all kitchen surfaces after cleaning them. Be sure to use a safe disinfectant. Moreover, book an appointment with professionals like cleaners Birmingham to make everything perfect.

Clean All The Fans

I’ve been a victim of working in an office with a dirty fan. I had a serious cold, which repeated itself often until I got to know what the issue was. While the fan freshens the air, it can also accumulate dust. This dust has germs. Make it a habit, therefore, to clean all fans in your home as well as disinfect them after a couple of weeks. Probably, three to four weeks.

Clean All Kids’ Toys

Kids will not only play with their toys, but they’ll also put them in their mouths. Such can cause them to fall sick if the toys have germs. Therefore, ensure that you’ve cleaned the toys every day. Ordinary dishwashing soap is just fine to clean toys effectively. Nonetheless, allow the toys to dry completely before giving them back to the kids.

Do also clean their hands before handing the toys over to them.
