Sharing is caring!

A carpet with stains all over is so irritating. And the worst part is there is no way you can avoid some of these stains. At some point, you will want to enjoy some coffee on the couch but on your way there, you find yourself spilling it on the carpet, the same case as the mud and dirt stain.

Don’t let the stains disturb your peace and make you not comfortable in your house. We have researched how to get rid of the stains easily leaving your carpet sparkling clean.

Pet Stains

Our hairy friends are so cute. Their playful nature brings warmth to our homes. But you can agree with me that the stains they bring on your beautiful carpet are not cute at all.

Here is how to get rid of pet stains on the carpet. In most cases, the stains are poop and urine stains. Get an enzyme in any cleaning shop. It will help in removing the stains and also the odor from the stain.

Spray the enzyme cleaner on the stain and use a damp clean cloth to work on the stain. Rinse the area with another damp cloth. After that, leave the area covered with a clean cloth to dry without interference.

Dirt stain

When getting rid of a dirt stain, you first allow the mud to dry before starting the process completely. After the mud is dry, scrape it off the carpet. After that, vacuum the carpet to get rid of the mud particles. Get a detergent solution, which is made of mild dishwashing soap mixed with warm water. Apply the detergent solution to the stain and leave it for 10 minutes.

After the 10 minutes, blot the area using a clean cloth or a paper towel until all the detergent solution is off. Leave the area to dry. Avoid stepping on the area until it is completely dry.

Bloodstain

Blood contains protein, and protein hardens when exposed to heat. In this case, apply cold water on the stain or a club soda. After that, blot the area using a clean cloth. Repeat the process until all dirt is out.

Wine stain

When you spill wine on your carpet, the first step is absorbing as much wine from the carpet as possible. Use an absorbent material and avoid spreading the stain further as you do that.

After that, spray a Wine Away and leave it for around five minutes. After that, blot the area using a clean cloth. To remove the excess residue, use a damp cloth.

Another way to remove wine or juice stain is by spraying club soda on the stain and then blot the area using a clean microfiber material. Repeat the process until all the stain is out.

Coffee stains

Are you the type of person who must take a cup of coffee in the morning before doing anything? If you are, spilling coffee at that time is not unusual to you.

To remove the coffee stain, start by bloating the stained part to remove the excess coffee. Mix one tablespoon dish soap and a tablespoon white vinegar and warm water in two cups. Apply the mixture to the stain.

Clean the stain using a sponge while applying the mixture gradually. After that, use a dry cloth to blot until all the stain comes out. Rinse by blotting the area with cold water, blot it again with a dry cloth to dry.

Alternatively, use two tablespoons of hydrogen peroxide and one tablespoon of dish soap. Place the solution on the stain and leave it for five minutes. After that, rinse the solution with water and a clean cloth and leave it to dry. The method removes the stain faster and also can be used on tea stains.

Chocolate stain

Use a dull knife to scrape the excess chocolate. In case the chocolate is melted, use a plastic bag with ice and place it on the stain to harden it. use the knife again and scrape the hard chocolate. After that, vacuum the carpet to get rid of the chocolate particles.
