How To Stay Safe At College

Sharing is caring!

A big concern for students going off to college this fall (or at least what should be a huge concern) is safety. The safety of themselves and their property. A big problem on college campuses is theft. That expensive iPhone? It could be gone forever. That digital camera you’re using to capture your colleges memories? Gone! You need to make sure you protect yourself and/or your children.

A great way to do this is by making sure you lock up your items when you’re not in your room. A great safety thing for your laptop is the Set-Your-Own Combination SafeSpace(TM) Laptop Computer Lock, which is pictured above. It’s great being able to set your own combination because I feel that it’s safer (as long as you don’t do 1-1-1 or 1-2-3 or anything like that). If they can’t unlock your laptop, they more than likely won’t steal it!

Another great product to keep your other expensive items like your cell phone, camera, car keys, money, jewelry, or credit cards safe, is the 5900D SafeSpace(TM), pictured below. Everything we have nowadays is expensive and they’re all hard to replace – especially money. So you need to make sure you keep your items safe!

You can test your safety and security knowledge by taking the Master Combo Challenge on their Facebook page! Then come back here and tell me how you scored! I would love to hear! Also, I’d love to hear any tips you have for keeping safe, whether it’s going to college or at home!

Disclosure: I’m entering a contest to receive a Master Lock back-to-school prize back as a member of Mom Bloggers Club. All opinions/tips are my own, though.
