I’m Headed To Los Angeles, California! #McFarlandUSAEvent

Friday, January 9th the most exciting email landed in my inbox – an invitation to Los Angeles, California from Disney! That is right – February 5th-8th I will be in L.A. for a fun press trip with lots of great interviews and more planned! I haven’t received the full itinerary yet, but I wanted to tell you a little bit of what I will be covering and who I will be interviewing!

I will be attending the press junket of McFarland, USA (opening in theatres 2/20). Guess who I get to interview?! KEVIN COSTNER!! OMG! OMG! OMG! I have loved Mr. Costner ever since I can remember, so this is so awesome! I also get to interview additional cast, filmmakers and the real life inspirations behind the film.

I will also be attending a special press day at Walt Disney Studios for the In-Home release of Big Hero 6 where I get to interview the filmmakers, Ryan Potter (voice of “Hiro”), Daniel Henney (voice of “Tadashi”) and Scott Adsit (voice of “Baymax”)! We have seen Big Hero 6 and absolutely LOVED it! So to be able to meet cast and filmmakers is so cool!

Next up, I will attend a special press day at DisneyToon Studios for the In-Home release of Tinkerbell and the Legend of the Neverbeast. I will get to interview the filmmakers and Ginnifer Goodwin, who is the voice of Fawn.

The fun just doesn’t stop there! I will get to preview two soon-to-air episodes of ABC’s new family comedy Fresh Off the Boat. This show will be sampled twice in ABC’s Wednesday night comedy block on Wednesday, February 4th at both 8:30 and 9:30pm, followed by it’s time slot premiere on Tuesday, February 10th at 8pm EST. I will get to meet the show’s writer and Executive Producer Nahnatchka Kahn as well as available cast from the show.

And finally, I will be screening the upcoming Disney Channel Film Bad Hair Day followed by a Q+A with star and Executive Producer Leigh-Allyn Baker! Bad Hair Day will be premiering Friday, February 13th at 8pm ET/PT.

I still cannot believe that I have been invited! I can’t wait to see what all the folks at Disney have in store for the 25 bloggers that have been invited. I am sure it will be a blast! Make sure to follow me on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter February 5-8th during my trip to sunny L.A.!
