You must have heard Goa being known as the ultimate Hippie destination. However, nowadays we consider it a party destination. So, what changed? Or, does hippie mean partying? Let’s dive into how things have changed in Goa in the past few years. 

Goa was the last destination of the Hippie Trail. The Hippie Trail was the route taken by people who adopted this lifestyle which spanned from Europe and ended in Goa covering all the countries in-between such as Nepal, Afghanistan and Pakistan. The hippie culture in Goa back then meant nude beaches, cheap drugs and considerably affordable living.
