I don’t know about you, but I absolutely love candles. For me, sitting in a room with just candles lit makes me much more calmer and I feel at peace. I have a fascination with just starting at a candle and watching it dance around. With a child, though, I do not get to do this as often as I would like to. It’s so hard to keep candles around with children, as I’m sure you know, because they could burn themselves or accidentally knock it down.
Well, I found a beautiful alternative to regular candles. In come Battery Operated Candles! This site has become one of my favorites! They have candles for every occasion, including Spring, Halloween, Christmas, along with different styles such as wall sconces, metal lanterns, and my new favorite, willow branches. I’m planning on ordering some for our end-of-summer BBQ that we will be having in September. They’ll make a nice touch and add some beautiful decor outside and at night, they’ll be gorgeous and still give us some light so we can stay outside and talk as long as we would like to. They also have some really neat purple willow branches that would be perfect for any Halloween decoration or party!
I think it’s really neat turning a “tree” into a light – it really brings out a different form and makes you forget it’s also a light because it’s not over powering and makes for beautiful decoration. Plus, there’s no worrying about a child accidentally knocking it over, so it makes things so much more stress free – which, when you’re having a party, you need things to not be stressful!
Another thing I love about Battery Operated Candles’ website is that they have volume discounts; for example, if you buy 2 candles, you get 5% off! And if you buy more, the discount goes up! It’s such a great deal! You really can’t pass it up. So consider them when you’re thinking about outdoor decor – you won’t be disappointed!
I’m a 20-something stay-at-home mother and wife. I have an amazing husband, a beautiful daughter, two loving dogs, and a lazy cat. I wouldn’t change my life for anything! I love to read, listen to music, cook and blog!
Yep, I know what you mean. The first thing my son does when I light a candle is looking and then trying to touch, haha. I’ve learned to have my candles out of his reach by at least 2-3 feet so that he can’t stand on something and get to them, but I’m running out of space LOL. I’ve used battery-operated tealight candles at Walmart and they’re just poor quality and don’t last long, I’ll definitely look into these though. Do they have an affie program? If I’m able to order something I’d be happy to order via your affiliate link so that you get some credit, since you’re how I found out about them in the first place. 🙂
