Livrada – The New Way To Give & Receive Ebooks

I’m happy to announce a wonderful new service out on the market now, called Livrada. With Livrada you can go to your favorite Target store while you’re picking up groceries, clothes, or any of the other miscellaneous things we all like to buy from there (for me, it’s DVDs when they’re on sale and back-to-school supplies) and if you have someone who has a birthday coming up who likes to read, or it’s also a good idea for Christmas time, you can pick up a Livrada card which is like a gift card, but the gift receiver can redeem it for an e-book! Right now the available titles include:

  • Fifty Shades of Grey
  • The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet’s Nest
  • State of Wonder
  • Gone Girl
  • 44 Charles Street
  • Odd Thomas
I think this is such a wonderful idea because it’s a more personal way to give a book! My favorite part is that the gift cards are actual replicas of the book covers! How cool is that?! Also, if you don’t know if the person you’re giving it to has a Kindle or Nook, it’s okay because it can be redeemed for one or the other – so it takes the guess out of it, and you don’t even have to ask them!
I hope that you’ll definitely take advantage of this great new service. Livrada is definitely going to be changing how we give and get ebooks as gifts! Make sure you pick up one for the next person who has a birthday at all Target stores now!
