Sharing is caring!

You’ll find endless things to do in Belfast, from world-class attractions, historic landmarks, museums, shopping and entertainment venues, to walking, coach, taxi and bike sightseeing tours.

As the gateway to Northern Ireland, Belfast is perfectly positioned for day tours with the
Giant’s Causeway from Belfast easily reachable and Game of Thrones tours from Belfast departing 7 days per week there really is something for everyone.

In a recent tourism study Belfast has been voted one of the best value locations in the UK & Ireland, in comparison to London or Dublin your money will go much further on drinks, dining out, hotels and the usual day to day things.

Belfast itself is steeped in history from building world famous ships, such as the white star lines titanic “the ship of dreams” which we all know sadly struck an iceberg in the Atlantic on its maiden voyage.

In honor of Belfast’s rich shipbuilding history and having made the most famous sea bearing ship of a generation the city has developed a fantastic museum dedicated to the titanic. The museum has had over 5 million visitors since opening and is designed on all sides to represent the bow of the ship, a truly stunning building. The museum is easily reached on the Belfast hop on hop off tour which travels to the museum as part of a regularly scheduled loop between other leading attractions Belfast is oozing with.

Belfast is also now a city of peace having came out of a dark period which had became known as the troubles. The city now showcases the famous murals from each side of the political divide used to express the feelings of the period, from each point of view.

The international wall on the falls road today still gets updated with current events that go on around the world. The Belfast black cab tour is an awesome private experience taken by black taxi drivers most whom worked in the era known as the troubles and they can take you between the lines of divide, delivering a personal primary account of each sides point of view. Tip – If the drivers done a good job you should not know what religion or background they come from.
