Gifts are fun to give and receive. To me, gifts are a hundred times better if they are personalized. There’s just something about getting a gift with my initial or name on it. If you are looking for personalized gifts, whether it be for Valentine’s Day, a birthday, anniversary, or more, I have some great ideas to help you ou!
Ornaments – Personalized ornaments can be great and you can customize them in many ways. Do glitter, polka dots, stripes – whatever you know your recipient will love!
Coffee Mugs – Most people likelove coffee, right? What would be better than a personalized coffee mug then?! There’s a lot of great tutorials for cute and easy DIY dotted Sharpie mugs
Wine Glasses – If the girl in your life doesn’t like coffee, I’m sure she’ll love wine! You can either do glass etching or paint. Bonus points if you give them a bottle of their favorite wine with the wine glass! The beautiful one above are from The Real Thing With the Coake Family.
Rings – Personalized rings are something that will be cherished for years and years and can be passed on. The Bradford Exchange has lots o great ones to personalize.
Cutting Board – A great gift for a foodie who loves to cook is definitely a cutting board. It’s always nice to have a pretty cutting board.
iPad Stand – I totally want one of these! Roubinek Reality has a great tutorial for a DIY Personalized Kitchen iPad Display. What a wonderful way to protect your iPad while helping prevent food from getting on the screen!
Bookmark – Have a book lover? Make a beautiful bookmark. I, for one, love the ones I’ve seen made out of burlap. There’s lots of great tutorials on Pinterest to make your own. (Where would we be without Pinterest?!)
Coasters – Another great gift, that you could even include with a personalized wine glass or cutting board, would be personalized coasters. Add their name in vinyl, or decopage photos onto it.
Painting – Whether it’s a simple plaque like I made above for my dad for grandparent’s day, or a piece on canvas, a painting of some sort is sure to be a hit.
