Planning Honeymoon? 6 Must Carry Things

Honeymoons are considered to be the best and most memorable vacations in anyone’s life. It is considered as the happy beginning of a person’s newly married life.

A statistic showed that 75% of the newlywed couples take their honeymoon in the first week of their marriage. So, if you are one of them, firstly, congratulations on your wedding but have you packed your bags yet? If yes, check if the following were in your checklist.

1. Have you taken all your necessary documents?

Planning and executing a wedding can be exhausting, tiresome, and very hectic. And, since you are going on your honeymoon after this, you’ll have to make your packing arrangements beforehand, or you’ll lose out on all the fun. The first thing will be to create a travel essentials’ document folder. This folder will contain all your necessary documents for traveling.

From your passports, flight tickets, hotel reservation documents, driving license to your credit cards, and other necessary contact details, the folder should be a complete encyclopedia for your documents. It should also contain emergency contacts. It’s better to prepare this beforehand so that you can never forget things at the end.

Also, while you’re preparing this, make sure you prepare a few copies of the travel itinerary, hotel contact information, and other lists of correspondence for your family and friends, in case they need to get in touch with you due to any emergency.

2. Pack your grooming and personal care products

This honeymoon will be your most memorable vacation, and you cannot let anything go wrong in this one week. So, how will you ensure a perfect honeymoon? Start by packing your travel essentials – grooming and personal care products.

You will get many travel organizer pouches, online. You can buy any one of those and you use them to organize your fragrances, hair products like shampoos, sprays, wax, etc., moisturizing lotions, health creams, sunscreen lotions, face packs, etc.

While you are packing these things, do not forget to pack sanitizing sprays and gels, wet wipes and tissues, etc. These will come in handy throughout the honeymoon, and while traveling as well!

3. Medicines cannot be forgotten at all.

When you’re going for your honeymoon, you will have to carry your medicines. You cannot rely on finding your medicines at the destination of your honeymoon, as it may ruin the entire plan. It is better to prepare a healthcare kit consisting of several basic medicines. You can start with digestive medicines, along with antibiotics, flu medicines, allergy medicines, etc.

Apart from these, make sure your prescription medication is also packed along with the doctor’s prescription. You should also pack some anti-bacterial creams and antiseptic sprays and lotions. Some locations have banned painkillers, so be careful about those restrictions!
