Planning Our Orlando/Walt Disney World Trip With Gogobot!

Sharing is caring!

Miles and I just started saving last month for a trip to Orlando, Florida to visit Walt Disney World with our daughter in about two years. We want to make sure we give ourselves enough time to save a good amount of money. The next step after saving the money is planning. And that’s where Gogobot/ comes in!

Gogobot is a social travel website that first launched in 2010. It’s great because it helps you plan your vacation and allows you to connect with your friends so you can get their advice on places that you should stay, visit, and eat at during your travels. You can either use Gogobot to plan things ahead of time, or you can ask your friends questions on the fly! You know it’s a good site because it has racked up accolades including being named one of the Time’s top sites of 2011 and was winner in 2010 of the Crunchie award for Best Design!

On Gogobot’s website, on the section of Orlando, FL/Walt Disney World, you get a lot of options as far as choices go in where to stay, eat, and visit during your travels. Here’s what we have decided what we are going to do as far as our visit goes!

Hotel
The Hilton Orlando looks like a good choice for our family because it’s about a $104 a night in price, which is affordable for us. Plus, they have an outdoor pool and a children’s pool. The review that is up on Hilton Orlando’s website is all positive – which is what we like to hear!

Where To Eat
The 50’s Prime Time Cafe looks like a joint that I would love! I love diners that take you back in time and this one looks like a great one! The reviews are all very positive, as well. Apparently the waiters/waitresses really like to interact with you during your meal, so that sounds like a fun experience that you won’t forget! Not to mention, the pictures of the food people posted make my mouth water!

The Rainforest Cafe looks like a place that Riley would really enjoy – they have elephants and other animals all throughout the restaurant and rainforest sounds. It really looks like a fun place to eat at!

What To Do
This one is pretty much a given – Walt Disney World! I never got to go as a child, so it would be great to take Riley and experience it with her for the first time. One day we could ride the rides and another day we could enjoy one of two water parks! It would definitely be a great memory maker for our family!

Another no-brainer place to visit is SeaWorld Orlando. All three of us love animals so seeing penguins, dolphins and whales up close would be so much fun!

I really hope that you all use Gogobot to plan your next vacation!

Gogobot allows you to tap into the knowledge of your friends when planning a trip anywhere. You can find like-minded travelers and inspiration for your next vacation, creating easy-to-use wishlists you can return to again and again.

And when you are not in vacation mode or planning a trip, you can discover hidden gems in your own neighborhood for entertaining guests or a weekend staycation.

The best part? Every page on Gogobot is personalized. You can see reviews from your friends and people you are following at the top, which allows you to weed out the noise and fraudulent reviews that become a problem on other review sites. Check out Gogobot today!

  1. You have to go to Cafe Tutu Tango! It’s like my favorite place in Kissimee.
