Quick and Easy Face Care for Busy Moms

Sharing is caring!

When you have children you realise your time is not your own anymore.  Any minute you can get free or spare to yourself is as valuable as gold dust, so ensure that you use those minutes wisely (ideally to look after yourself). One thing you can and must fit in everyday is a skincare routine, no matter how minimal. So how do you keep your skin looking healthy, youthful and glowing, even if you only have a few free minutes a day?

Stick to the Essentials

You start by working out what is the most important thing you want to focus on, and you then make this your daily priority. For example, are you looking to tone your skin in those free minutes that you have or are you looking to apply a soothing balm? Making sure you cleanse your face daily (ideally twice a day but as a minimum once at the end of the day) is essential for skin hygiene and try to regularly moisturise to ensure your skin stays smooth and soft.

Switch it Up

The best way to make sure that you get the most of out of anything you do with your skin is to mix it up a little. With children running around the house no two days will be the same and this is the same for your skincare routine. If you do the same things day in day out you will see the same results. So, treat yourself to a charcoal face mask, look at that UV protective moisturizer and try cleansing your skin with rose water, as you never know what will work for you and your skin.

Any Spare Minute

It is super important to remember that you do not have to pressure yourself to stick to timings when taking care of your face. As long as you do something other than cleansing every day your skin will retain its natural beauty and complexion. When getting your skincare sorted you will no doubt try lots of new products, some of which may work, some of which will not. One product you should try is The CBD Supplier’s CBD Balm that is quick and easy to use, it will not dry your skin out and you can apply it quickly (even if you are on the go). Other products you may want to try include moisturizers and cleansers that contain the natural ingredient aloe vera. Aloe vera is a healing plant and it is supposed to work wonders on lightening any sunspots you may have on your face.

Like with everything the results you achieve may be different to those of, for example, your friend next door, and this is fine because everyone’s skin is different. This is what makes you both beautiful and unique. Remember that it is important to do a test patch somewhere on your body to ensure that you do not have an allergic reaction or adverse reaction to any new product you introduce. Do not forget that your skin changes throughout the month as well as through the years so do not be too hard on yourself as your skin, and especially your face, tell the story of you and that in itself is fantastic.
