Happy October! It’s hard to believe that we’re well into fall and that October is here already! This month for our book give away and fun ideas we are sharing the book Room on the Broom by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler. It is perfect for fall and for little ones and big kids too!
We decided to spend a day reading this really fun children’s book and then doing some activities that made us think of the story. Have you read the book? Here’s a little bit about the book in case you haven’t:
The witch and her cat are happily flying through the sky on a broomstick when the wind picks up and blows away the witch’s hat, then her bow, and then her wand! Luckily, three helpful animals find the missing items, and all they want in return is a ride on the broom. But is there room on the broom for so many friends? And when disaster strikes, will they be able to save the witch from a hungry dragon?
Most kids love to play in fall leaves. My little one is no exception! So after reading the book, we set out to play in the fall leaves and make this adorable
I’m a 20-something stay-at-home mother and wife. I have an amazing husband, a beautiful daughter, two loving dogs, and a lazy cat. I wouldn’t change my life for anything! I love to read, listen to music, cook and blog!
